ROOM 18

Located at the ground floor, this room is one of the favorites in the Casa.
It has two levels plus a screened-in porch area ideal for gatherings. The
first level has a queen-size bed, above it hang avant garde posters by J.P.
Cuison and a lightbox painting by Robert Langenegger. Leading up to the
cozy loft, there are photographs taken by Jo Avila. On the porch, a
barber’s chair holds court. It is a magnet for storytelling and is easily
one of the most comfortable seats in the house.
